Babyraids Japan, a Japanese female idol group affiliated with LesPros Entertainment and signed to Pony Canyon, made a mark in the idol industry with a bold strategy of "storming" into established idol group performances to win over fans. The members were Rikako Ōya, Erika Denya, Manatsu Hayashi, Nao Takami and Rio Watanabe. Originally formed in May 2012 under the name Babyraids, the group underwent a name change in 2015 to Babyraids Japan. Their approach, summarized on their official site as Charge! Takeover!! Idol reflected their aggressive promotional tactics. The group made their CD debut in September 2012 and faced a unique challenge: they had promised to disband if they couldn't perform at Nippon Budokan within two years. They successfully avoided this by holding a concert at Budokan in December 2014. They released "Eikou Sunrise" (2015) which was the first single under the name Babyraids JAPAN. The group disbanded following an outdoor live performance at Yamanakako Communication Plaza Kirara on September 24, 2018.
