Bang Ju-yeon

Bang Ju-yeon (born Bang Il-mae on January 25, 1951, in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean singer known for her contributions to contemporary folk music. She gained popularity in the 1970s with hit songs like "Your Heart (당신의 마음)" and "Please Return My Love (사랑만은 돌려줘요)", which established her as a leading figure in the Korean folk and pop music scene. In 1974, she released the album You Don’t Know (그대는 몰라) / Think About It (생각해 보세요), further cementing her status as a beloved artist. Throughout her career, she released numerous albums, including Bang Ju-yeon Solo Album (1972) and Golden (1973), solidifying her legacy in the industry. Even in later years, she continued to release music, such as Masterpiece Collection (2021).
