Bela B, whose real name is Dirk Albert Felsenheimer, was born in West Berlin on December 14, 1962. He is best known as the drummer and singer of the German punk rock band Die Ärzte. In addition to his work with Die Ärzte, Bela B also pursued a solo career and released several albums. His debut album Bingo was released in 2006 and reached number 2 in the German album charts. the album Code B followed in 2009, which was also successful. in 2014, he released the album Bye, which reached number 4 in the German charts. His last solo album to date, Bastard, was released in 2017 and reached number 3 in the German album charts. In addition to his musical career, Bela B is also active as an actor and dubbing artist. Among other things, he lends his voice to Johnny Depp in the German version of The Brave and has appeared in films such as Inglourious Basterds (2009). Bela B has received several awards during his career, including the Echo Music Prize with Die Ärzte.
