Initially known for her work as a television and film actress, Belle Mariano was born in Pasig, Philippines, on June 10, 2002, and launched a successful music career while still a teenager. She been working as a model at nine years old, landing roles in television shows like Lorenzo's Time and Goin' Bulilit that same year. By 2017, her acting portfolio had grown to includes roles in acclaimed TV shows like FPJ's Ang Probinsyano and Maalaala Mo Kaya, as well as films like Can't Help Falling in Love and the box office hit Love You to the Stars and Back. One year shy of her twentieth birthday, she made her musical debut with 2021's "Kung Ako Nalang," then returned later that summer with a follow-up single, "Sigurado." A mid-tempo ballad composed by Trisha Denise and featured on the soundtrack of the popular TV series He's Into Her, "Sigurado" helped rebrand Bella Mariano as a rising pop star, with the song earning millions of digital streams within months of its release. Belle Mariano, who served as He's Into Her's lead actress, also released a duet version of "Sigurado" with her co-star, fellow singer/actor Donny Pangilinan.
