Born in Libreville, Gabon, on April 9, 1996, Benjamin Epps discovered rap as a teenager and practiced with his three brothers, before moving to France to pursue a musical career. In 2020, he released his first six-track EP Le Futur, from which the single "Kennedy en 2005" was taken , followed in 2021 by Fantôme avec Chauffeur, in collaboration with producer Le Chroniqueur Sale. In addition to appearances on tracks by Dinos, Selah Sue, Vladimir Cauchemar, A2H, Youssoupha, Enchantée Julia and Seth Gueko, Benjamin Epps produces his third EP Vous N'Êtes Pas Contents? Triplé (2022), with a title inspired by a line from footballer Kylian Mbappé. Ranking 63rd in the SNEP charts, it includes the track "Drillmatic", introduced by American rapper Jadakiss, and "Tout droit de la banque", produced by JeanJass. That same year, the Gabonese rapper won the BET Hip Hop Awards in Los Angeles for Best International Flow. An unreleased track, "Jeune", followed. In 2023, the artist returned with his first studio album, La Grande Désillusion. The album featured several collaborations: with Styles P, MC Solaar, Josman, Angélique Kidjo and Lino.
