In a stellar career the songwriter and producer Benjamin Levin (under the name Benny Blanco) has amassed 26 number ones and been involved in the creation of albums which have gone on to sell over 100 million copies. Although his name may not be known by many, his music will is recognisable, with his songs and productions include working with Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey. He has been acclaimed by his peers in the industry with numerous awards which has resulted in five BMI Awards and a coveted Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame which he was given in 2013. He began his career under the guidance of songwriter and producer Lukasz Gottwald, better known as Dr. Luke, who mentored his protégé and provided the foundations for Levin's future success. During his early days with Gottwald Levin produced and co-wrote hits such as Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' and Ke$ha's 'TiK ToK'. As his career took off Levin founded two successful imprint labels and has subsequently risen in the US pop industry to become one of America's most respected and influential producers.
