Bertrand Cuiller is a renowned conductor and harpsichordist born in France in 1978. His mother, harpsichordist Jocelyne Cuiller, taught him to play the instrument, and he soon enrolled at Nantes Conservatory to further his musical studies. Dividing his time between solo and chamber work, Cuiller often performs with Les Basses Unifies, La Rêveuse and Les Lunaisiens as well as the Baroque ensembles Les Arts Florissants, Stradivaria and Le Concert Spirituel. He formed his own chamber group, Le Caravansérail, in 2015 and began performing pieces as varied as Bach's 'Brandenburg Concertos' to François Couperin's 'Leçons de Ténèbres'. Inspired by Couperin's work, he began a project with Harmonia Mundi to record the entire catalogue of Couperin's works for harpsichord.
