Beth, born Elisabeth Rodergas Cols on December 23, 1981, in Súria, Barcelona, gained national attention in 2003 as a finalist on the singing competition Operación Triunfo’s second season, later representing Spain at the Eurovision with the song "Dime." Though she expressed initial reluctance toward the song, it quickly became a hit, topping Spanish charts and making her a household name. Following Eurovision, Beth released her debut album Otra realidad, which achieved double platinum status with hits like "Dime" and "Parando el tiempo." In 2006, she unveiled her second album My Own Way Home, recorded in London and featuring singles like "Rain on me," showcasing a more personal, introspective sound. Expanding her repertoire, she released her first Catalan-language album Segueix-me el fil in 2010, followed by Familia in 2013. Known for her versatility, Beth ventured into theater and collaborated with Guille Milkyway on La dona vinguda del futur in 2013. Her fifth studio album, Origen (2021), featured songs in Spanish, Catalan, and English, capturing her evolving artistry. In 2022, she teamed up with pianist Laura Andrés on Natural Women, paying tribute to the iconic women of music, cementing her reputation as a dynamic figure in Spanish pop.
