Bibiza

Bibiza, real name Frank Bibiza, is a musician and rapper from Vienna, Austria, born in 1999, who is characterized by his genre-crossing style between rap, trap, post-punk and indie rock. Since his debut in 2018, Bibiza has developed an independent musical approach that is heavily influenced by Viennese subculture and artists such as Falco. His lyrics often deal with topics such as excess, hedonism and everyday urban life, using the Viennese dialect prominently in his songs. His previously released albums include Wiener Schickeria (2023), which was praised by critics as an ode to the vibrant Viennese music scene and its characters. With tracks such as "Casanova", he demonstrates his ability to combine catchy melodies and astute lyrics. Bibiza is also known for his collaborations with artists such as Mavi Phoenix and Eli Preiss, as well as his membership in the artist collective Swift Circle, which excels in collaborative work. In terms of genre, Bibiza moves between German rap, Austropop and experimental urban sound. His songs and live performances have earned him recognition both in Austria and internationally. His second studio album will be released at the end of November 2024. Bis einer weint reaches number 3 in the Austrian charts and climbs to number 25 in Germany, reaching number 38 in Switzerland.
