Stéphane Joaquim, a.k.a. Big Red, was born in 1972 and gained notoriety as a member of the Rapsonic trio, which he joined at the age of 16 alongside DJ Crazy and Faster Jay, who went on to form the group Alliance Ethnik. Their collaboration culminated in the album Vas-Y Mets la Dose in 1989. But the following year, he founded the group Raggasonic with Daddy Morry. The duo collaborated on MC Solaar's debut album and NTM's J'appuie Sur la Gâchette in 1993. Between 1995 and 2012, Raggasonic released three homonymous albums and one compilation. However, this did not prevent Big Red from embarking on a solo career in 1999, the year of the release of his first album, Big Redemption. Several discographic chapters followed: Redsistance in 2001, Raggamuffin Culture in 2005, The Wicked Best of Bw FTW (Fuck The World), a compilation accompanied by an album in 2008, and also Test Pressing, in 2010, which consists of a series of five vinyls each containing two tracks and two instrumentals, five of which are previously unreleased. He returned in 2016 with the album Vapor.
