A hardcore rapper from the Belleville neighborhood in Paris' 20th arrondissement, Bilel first came to prominence with the street album Qui Vivra Verra ... released on NéoChrome in 2010. Despite this good start, Bilel is accused of turning the tables with the album Forceps in 2011, where he opens the door to R&B, electro rap and dancehall. Bilel made a fresh start in 2012 with the mixtape Laissez Passer l'Artiste , featuring Le Rat Luciano and Seth Gueko. Laissez Passer l'Artiste reached the top 100 best-selling albums in France in June 2012. Bilel returned three years later with the self-produced Fou Rire et Pompes Funèbres.
