Australian multi-instrumentalist and pioneer of infusing R&B and soul with hip-hop tracks, Billy Davis has collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip-hop internationally such as BROCKHAMPTON and GoldLink, and is much in demand as a songwriter, producer and musician. He has built up his own crew, a rap collective called The Good Lords with up to eleven members appearing on stage at any one time. An eclectic mix of sounds, ranging from rap and hip-hop to soul ballads, his debut album 'Family Portrait' in 2017 featured collaborations with Denzel Curry and Jace XL. The album not only explored his relationship with his own family, but also the family he felt he had created within The Good Lords. Popular tracks from the album include 'No Longer Loves' (2017) which has been streamed more than three million times online, 'Goldfish' (2017) featuring Denzel Curry and 'Ball and Chain' (2017). Although collaboration within The Good Lords is at the heart of most of Davis's work, in 2019 he stepped away from his crew to release the singles 'Headspace' featuring Jordan Dennis and KYE and 'Shoulda Known' featuring VanJess and Matt McGee.
