Los Angeles-born singer and multi-instrumentalist Binki Shapiro was initially a member of the Brazilian-American supergroup Little Joy, alongside Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and Rodrigo Amarante of Los Hermanos (2007). After several collaborations, notably with Beck in 2009, the Californian formed a duo with Adam Green, releasing an album soberly entitled Adam Green & Binki Shapiro in January 2013.
