Composed of brothers and guitarists Florent and Jean-Noël Dasque, singer Sylvain Duthu, trombonist Jean-Baptiste Labe, bassist Laurent Garnier, drummer Ernst Carree, and pianist Jérémie Plante, Boulevard des Airs is an eclectic eight-piece from Tarbes. Formed in 2004 by a group of high school classmates, their musical influences range from French chanson to world music, electronica, and beyond. Their debut album Paris-Buenos Aires came out in 2011 via Sony Music and was certified gold after selling over 50,000 copies. In 2013, Boulevard des Aires was nominated in the category Revelation of the Year at the Victoires de la Musique Awards and released their second album, Les Appareuses Trompences. A third album titled Bruxelles arrived in 2015 and spawned a subsequent tour throughout Europe and South America. It also obtained platinum certification a few months after its release. 2018 found the group reaping the fruits of their hard work as the title track from fourth album Je Me Dis Que Toi Aussi won Best Original Song at the 2019 Victoires de la Musique and the single “Allez reste,” featuring Vianney, became a radio hit in France. The following year, Boulevard des Airs announced the release of Loin des Yeux (2021), a star-studded album that featured guest spots by Patrick Bruel, Yannick Noah, Vianney, and Claudio Capéo.
