Brantley Gilbert is an American country rock singer-songwriter who has had two number one hits on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart; 'Just As I Am' featuring Thomas Rhett and Justin Moore went to number two on the Billboard 200 in 2014 and 'The Devil Don't Sleep' also reached number two on the 200 in 2017. Born in northern Georgia, he moved to Nashville where he performed in local venues and wrote songs until the release of his debut album, 'A Modern Day Prodigal Son' in 2009. It peaked at number 38 on the 200 and number 58 on the Country Chart but his follow-up the same year, 'Halfway to Heaven', went to number two on the Country Chart and number four on the 200. The track 'Dirt Road Anthem' was nominated as Best Song in the County Music Awards and in 2012 he was nominated at the CMAs as Best New Artist. He was nominated for the same prize at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2012 and 2013 and he won for Best New Male Vocalist in 2013. He has had 17 tracks on the Hot Country Songs Chart including three that went to number one - 'Country Must Be Country Wide' (2011), 'You Don't Know Her Like I Do' (2012) and 'Bottoms Up' (2014). He toured America in 2018 and his schedule included performances at Country Fest 2019 in June in North Lawrence, Ohio.
