Jens Christian Bugge Wessltoft, aka Bugge Wesseltoft, is a Norwegian jazz pianist, son of jazz guitarist Erik Wesseltoft. He learned to play as a child and after he moved to Oslo he garnered acclaim collaborating with acts such as the Knut Riisnæs Quartet. He has recorded with a range of artists including singer Sidsei Endresen, bassist Arild Andersen, saxophonist Jan Garbarek and guitarist Terje Rypdal. He formed a group called New Conception of Jazz in 1996 and released several albums under that name. His solo releases include 'It's Snowing On My Piano' (1997), 'Im' (2007), 'Playing' (2009), 'Songs' (2011) and 'Everybody Loves Angels' (2017).
