Byul.org

Byul.org (Korean: 모임 별) is an electronica and dreampop band and design studio based in Seoul, South Korea, formed in January 2000 by brothers Cho Tae-sang and Jowall. Cho began his music career in the 1990s, performing in various venues, while Jowall had been active since 1999 with bands like Vacuum Orchestra. Their collaboration began early with the song "Bleu Bulb Light", which later became a signature track for Byul.org. The band gained public recognition in 2001 after composing the original soundtrack for the film Take Care of My Cat, starring Bae Doona. Known for their unique sound, Byul.org has been featured on platforms like NTS Live and has their music distributed in the U.S. by Burnt Toast Vinyl and in Europe by Alien Transistor and Morr Music. In 2018, Hwang So-yoon, frontman of Se So Neon, joined the band, contributing to their evolving musical style. Byul.org's discography includes Secret Stories Heard From a Girl in an Opium Den (2011), Selected Tracks for Nacht Dämonen (2017), and Nobody's Gold (2018).
