Chae Bo Hoon

Chae Bo Hoon or Chae Bo-hun, also known as The VANE, is a South Korean singer-songwriter born on August 23, 1992, in Daegu, Republic of Korea. He is the vocalist of the rock band Purple Rain, which finished third in JTBC's talent show Superband. Chae has made significant contributions to South Korean television drama soundtracks and began his music career by winning first place at the Busan MBC University Song Festival in 2012 with his composition "All in Love." He later created a one-man band called The VANE, which gained recognition through appearances on MBC's Duet Song Festival from 2016 to 2017. Chae's success continued when Purple Rain finished third in JTBC's Superband in 2019 and signed with JTBC Studio. Throughout his career, Chae has released numerous singles, EPs, and studio albums. His discography includes "Beck" (2015), Line (2016 EP), Run (2019 EP), and the studio album Round (2017). He has also recorded songs for various popular TV dramas such as Save Me, Vagabond, Itaewon Class, and "She's Back" (2024) for the series Miss Night and Day.
