Chanyeol

Park Chanyeol (born November 27, 1992), who often goes by just the name Chanyeol, is a hip-hop and K-pop performer from South Korea who first gained fame in 2012 as a member of the K-pop band EXO and then with a sub-unit of the group called EXO-K. He has acted in movies and television shows and collaborated with several acts. He featured with Tinashe on Far East Movement & Marshmello's 'Freal Love' (2016), which went to number eleven on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart and number 20 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. His track 'We Young' (2018) with Sehun went to number 71 on the Billboard Korea K-Pop 100. He released his first official solo single, 'SSFW', in April 2019. In June 2019, Chanyeol along with his fellow bandmate Sehun, announced their debut as EXO's second official sub-unit, EXO-SC, with their first EP What a Life released on July 22, 2019. Chanyeol then appeared in the musical road film The Box in 2021, a jukebox movie featuring popular songs from artists like Coldplay, Billie Eilish, and Pharrell Williams set in South Korean locales. He released his digital single "Good Enough" in October 2023, following his previous solo release "Tomorrow" in April 2021. SM Entertainment announced in July 2024 that Chanyeol would debut as a soloist with his first solo concert titled 2024 Chanyeol Live Tour: City-scape starting in Seoul on September 6 and 7, followed by the release of his debut EP Black Out on August 28, 2024.
