Charlotte Plank is an English musician, active since 2020 under Black Butter Records and a member of Loud LDN. She was educated at the Notting Hill Academy of Music and had a brief stint working at Marks and Spencer. Her musical journey began during lockdown, recording lo-fi demos in her home inspired by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Sam Fender, and Keith Flint. Additionally, Charlotte Plank is part of Loud LDN, a collective of female and non-binary musicians based in London. On 14 February 2021, Charlotte Plank made her official debut on the single "Dont U Know" alongside Frankie Allan and Strictly Banks. Later that year, she was featured on "Reflecting" from Chowerman's EP ANTITHESIS. In May 2022, Charlotte Plank self-released the single "Hate Me," which eventually caught the attention of Black Butter Records, leading to her signing and a subsequent re-release of the song in August of that year. A few months later, she returned with a single titled "Lost Boys," followed by "L.S.D. (Love So Damaged)" in January 2023. Charlotte Plank's major chart success came on 21 April 2023, when she collaborated with Rudimental and Vibe Chemistry to release "Dancing Is Healing," a song that cracked the Top 5 of the UK Singles Chart and earned silver certification by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). 2023 also saw the release of "Lights," a collaboration with Hybrid Minds that peaked at number 76 on the UK streaming charts.
