Chris Lane is a country singer from North Carolina, known for his smooth love songs. He and his twin brother Cory were keen basketball players in high school, but injuries prevented Chris from pursuing a sporting career. He unsuccessfully auditioned with brother Cory for 'American Idol' in 2007. He then played in the Chris Lane Band, which released the album 'Let's Ride' in 2012. After signing to Big Loud Records his first release as a solo artist was the single 'Broken Windshield View' in 2014. He made his full album debut with the commercially successful 'Girl Problems' in 2016, featuring the hit singles 'Fix' and 'For Her'. He released the single 'Take Back Home Girl', a collaboration with Tori Kelly, in 2017. This featured on his second album 'Laps Around The Sun' (2018). In 2018 he had another country romance hit with single 'I Don't Know About You'. In 2019 he released the single 'Big Big Plans' accompanied by a video in which he proposed to his girlfriend Lauren Bushnell.
