Christian Olivier, born in Mali in 1964, is a protean artist who is as much a singer, accordionist, lyricist, guitarist and composer as he is a graphic designer. He first came to prominence as the lead singer of the group Têtes Raides, with whom he released no fewer than 14 albums between 1989 and 2014. An avid poet, he had already made a name for himself as a solo artist, covering a song on a tribute album to Boris Vian, On N'est Pas Là Pour Se Faire Engueuler! in 2009. But it was in 2016 that he released his first proper album under his own name, entitled On / Off.
