Christine D'Clario

Though she was born on September 7, 1982, in Yonkers, New York, American Christian music artist Christine D'Clario's work has been primarily aimed towards Spanish-speaking audiences. After losing her father, she moved to Puerto Rico at age seven and later to Orlando, Florida, for college. Here, she was mentored by William McDowell while attending Full Sail University. Her music career took off with her eponymous studio debut in 2005, featuring the hit single "No Me Abandonarás." The album helped her land the Paoli Award for Feminine Revelation of the Year. Her follow-up album, Solo Tú... Lo Único Que Quiero, came out in 2008, followed by 2011's De Vuelta al Jardín, which earned her a GMA Dove Award nomination thanks to hits like "Como Dijiste." Her subsequent albums, Más Profundo and Deeper, its English-language counterpart, continued her chart success, peaking at number 48 on the Top Latin Albums chart in 2013. Over the years, Christine D'Clario's influence extended through collaborations, notably "El Nombre de Jesús" with Christian rapper Redimi2 and "No Hay Lugar Más Alto" with Miel San Marcos. Her live album Eterno Live (2015) reached number 2 on the Latin Pop Albums chart, featuring powerful live renditions and new songs. A second live LP titled Emanuel saw the light in 2018 and went to number in the United States. In 2020, she released the single "Loco Amor," which had Portuguese and English versions. Hasta Poder Ver, Christine D'Clario's third live album, was released in 2021 alongside an English version titled All That Remains. In 2023, she returned with the singles "Current / One Day at a Time" featuring Josh Baldwin and "Tantas Historias."
