Haley Fohr, born December 16, 1988, in Lafayette, Indiana, began releasing music as Circuit des Yeux in 2007. Her debut album Symphone followed in 2008, and she continued developing her lo-fi, experimental folk sound with Sirenum (2009), Portrait (2011), and Overdue (2013). After moving to Chicago in 2012, she collaborated with local artists and toured extensively in 2014. In 2015, she released In Plain Speech on Thrill Jockey, then shifted to Drag City for Reaching for Indigo (2017). Her orchestral album -io appeared via Matador Records in 2021. In 2025, she released her seventh album, the darkwave-influenced Halo on the Inside. She also records as Jackie Lynn.
