Born on January 2, 2004, in Southern California, Claire Rosinkranz is a singer and songwriter who began her career on social media. Her father is a musician and songwriter, and, at the age of 8, she began providing ideas for some of the music he was writing for adverts and TV shows. She set up several social media accounts and began posting original music in 2019. In June 2020, she released the song “Backyard Boy,” which became a viral hit and rose to Number 48 on the Irish Singles chart and landed just inside the Top 100 in the UK. Two months later, she released her debut EP, BeVerly Hills BoYfRiEnd, on Republic Records. After issuing the digital-only BeVerly Hills BoYfRiEnd (Remixes), she released her second EP, 6 of a Billion, in 2021. While not charting as high as she did with “Backyard Boy,” she’s released a series of well-received singles in 2021 and 2022 including “Don’t Miss Me” (from the soundtrack to The Hating Game), “I H8 That I Still Feel Bad for U,”, “Stuck on Us,” “I’m Too Pretty for This,” and “Don’t Miss Me (Sped Up).” Preceded by the singles "123," "Sad in Hawaii," and "Never Goes Away," her studio debut Just Because was released in 2023 and featured production by Afterhrs, Paul Phamous, Stint, Elie Rizk, and her father, Ragnar Rosinkranz.
