Clammbon, a Japanese musical trio consisting of vocalist/keyboardist Ikuko Harada, bassist Mito, and drummer Daisuke Itou, formed in 1996 while studying at SHOBI College of Music. The group made their major label debut with the EP くじらむぼん on February 25, 1998, under Warner Music Japan. Their music is known for combining jazzy chord progressions with J-pop and electronica influences. Clammbon released their first full-length album, JP, in October 1999, followed by several EPs and albums including まちわび まちさび<2016 リマスター> (October 25, 2000), ドラマチック<2016 リマスター> (2001), and id (2002). Notable singles include "サヨナラCOLOR" featuring 忌野清志郎 (August 6, 2005) and "Rough & Laugh" (2012). The band's name is derived from a fictional character in the Kenji Miyazawa novel Yamanashi. Throughout their career, Clammbon has been recognized for their eclectic style, blending alternative rock, indie pop, and progressive rock. Their unique sound earned them a dedicated following both in Japan and internationally. The group left Warner Music Japan in 2015 and went indie, releasing albums like てん、 (stereo) リマスター (2016), "Isekai Izakaya Japanese Food from Another World" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (October 3, 2018), and 添春編 (2023). Clammbon's contributions to the soundtrack for "Isekai Izakaya Japanese Food from Another World" further solidified their status as versatile musicians. Their impact on the Japanese music scene is notable, with dynamic performances leaving a lasting impression.
