CROSS GENE are a K-pop group formed in 2012 with a mix of South Korean, Japanese and Chinese performers. The current lineup features singers Lee Seyoung, Shin Won-ho and Kim Yonkseok plus rapper Kim Sangmin. Former members include singers Terada Takuya and Gao Jia Ning (known as J.G.) and rapper Chu Xiao-Xiang (known as Casper). Their 2012 debut EP 'Timeless: Begins' reached number eight on the South Korea albums chart, 'Play With Me' (2015) went to number seven, 'Game' (2016) number 13, 'Mirror' (2017) number two and 'Zero' (2018) peaked at number five. They have released several concert DVDs and singles such as 'La-Di Da-Di' and 'I'm Not a Boy, Not Yet a Man' in South Korea and 'Shooting Star' and 'Love & Peace' in Japan. The latter reached number two on Japan's Oricon singles chart. They also released the EPs 'Timeless: Future' (2012) and 'With U' (2013) in Japan. Their studio album 'Ying Yang' went to number 12 on Japan's Oricon albums chart in 2016. Their 2019 schedule was to include appearances at Hulic Hall in Tokyo.
