His breakthrough came in 2016 with "Me Rehúso," a self-produced hit that gained international acclaim and a subsequent English version, "Baby I Won't," cementing his place on global charts. After signing with Warner Music and Atlantic Records in 2017, Danny Ocean released his debut album, 54+1 (2019), featuring fan favorites like "Swing" and "Dime Tú." Collaborations with artists such as Skrillex on "Epa Wei," Coldplay’s Global Citizen project on "Voodoo," and Karol G’s "Ay, Dios Mío!" showcased his versatility. In 2022, he released @dannocean and @dannocean 2, which included hits like "Fuera del Mercado" and "Tú No Me Conoces" with Tini.
