Dany Aubé

Dany Aubé, real name Réjeanne Aubé, was born in Lasarre, Abitibi, Quebec, Canada in 1947. She is one of the biggest female stars of the yéyé era. Her hits dominated the charts in the mid-1960s. It was through her participation in amateur contests that she won the title of Reine du Nord-Ouest québécois. Moving to Montreal, she recorded the song " Goodbye, Au Revoir Arrivederci " in 1965. Dany Aubé's career explodes, with 60,000 copies sold. She topped the charts with " Il m'appelait Goguette " and " Ma casquette ". She took part in the Musicorama tour in 1967 and toured the cabaret circuit until the mid-1970s.
