David Tavaré (born on December 20, 1984) is a Spanish Eurodance singer and DJ, mostly known for his 2006 hit “Summerlove.” The son of a legendary guitar player, Tavaré developed a love for music from a young age inspired by reality television talent show Operación Triunfo. He made his official debut in 2006 with the single “Summerlove,” produced by a dream team of house music DJs, including Luis Rodríguez, DJ Maurice, Ambrogio “Amadeus” Crotti, and Martin Neumayer. The track quickly blew up in Europe, topping the charts in his native Spain and reaching the Top 5 in France and Belgium. He followed the success of his debut single with “Hot Summer Night (Oh La La La),” which featured German Eurodance duo 2 Eivissa and peaked at Number 2 on Spain’s PROMUSICAE lists and France’s SNEP chart. La vida viene y va (2008), Tavaré’s studio debut, included some of his previous hits, as well as “Centerfold,” a collaboration with German singer Nina Kristin that reached Number 4 on the Spanish charts. In the following years, Tavaré remained very active in the European dance music scene, collaborating with DJ Ron May on 2015’s “We Burn On Fire” and dabbling in urban pop music with 2018’s “Desnúdate.”
