Edward Maya is a Romanian DJ, singer, songwriter and producer who released his first single 'Stereo Love' in 2009. This was three years after he had written the Romanian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, 'Tornerò' performed by Mihai Traistariu. The local and then international successes of 'Stereo Love' enabled him to tour widely throughout Europe. He followed it with second single 'This Is My Life' before forming his own record label, Mayavin Records. In 2019 he embarked on his first project in India scoring music for a Bollywood movie.
