D-Block Europe

D-Block Europe are a London-based hip-hop duo consisting of South London rappers Young Adz and Dirtbike LB. The duo met whilst still at school and Young Adz was the first to demonstrate his creativity by releasing a series of mixtapes, his debut effort being Da Prodify released when he was just 13 years old. His work came to the attention of Universal Records who signed him when he turned 15 and launched his professional rap career. The success of Young Adz inspired his friend Dirtbike LB to follow him into the music business and the two boys promoted themselves on social media and various music platforms such as Link Up TV and SBTV. They were featured on Westwood's Crib Sessions and from there began to build an audience for their material. Following a string of singles, including "Trophy" featuring Not3s and "Favourite Girl" featuring Young T and Bugsey, they released their debut mixtape, Any Minute Now in 2018, which featured the single "Gucci Mane" with Yxng Bane. In 2019, they released the mixtapes Home Alone, PTSD and Street Trauma, which all entered the top ten of the UK Albums Chart. Released in 2020, their debut studio album, The Blue Print: Us vs. Them, shot to Number 2 in the UK while in November 2021, they went to Number 6 on the UK Albums Chart with their Home Alone 2 mixtape. Lap 5, the second studio album from D-Block Europe, emerged in 2022 and packed in guest spots from Ed Sheeran ("Lonely Lovers") and Ghost Killer Track ("Elegant & Gang"), among others, before stepping up their chart game in January 2024 with the UK number one Rolling Stone, their third full-length album to date. Three singles from the LP also broke into the UK chart: "I Need to Know" (#78), "Skims" (#72), and "Eagle" (#19).
