Delaney Jane is a Canadian singer-songwriter who was born in Toronto in 1993 and enjoyed a privileged upbringing studying the performing arts at a private school. In her teens she met fellow Toronto resident Shaun Frank, a musician who had previously made a career as a rock performer in the band Envy. Frank had recently reinvented himself as an EDM artist and with a tour in the offing persuaded Jane to drop out of school and accompany him on the road. Her relationship with Frank grew and after making an appearance on Frank's 2014 club hit 'This Could Be Love' she joined him on the track 'Shades of Grey' which subsequently topped the Beatport charts. The next couple of years provided Jane with opportunities to collaborate with other artists, most notably Dzeko & Torres, Grandtheft, Adventure Club and DVBBS, all of which brought further chart success. She also partnered Grandtheft on a collaboration album titled 'Easy Go' released in 2016. Jane launched her solo career with the single 'Howl' in 2017 but so far her career as a solo artist hasn't matched the success achieved by her collaborative works.
