Born in London on February 25, 1999 into a family of Indian origin, singer Dhruv Sharma, simply Dhruv to the stage, is enjoying success starting on social networks with the track "Double Take". Originally released in 2019, the track has racked up several hundred million listens since its viral emergence in 2021, in addition to chart positions in Southeast Asia. Its author, who grew up in Singapore and played the piano from an early age, was then a student at Yale University and a member of a vocal group, before devoting himself to music under his own name. Signed by the RCA label in 2021, Dhruv released the Rapunzer EP the following year, in the style he favors between R&B and pop. He toured as a support act for Japanese singer Joji, while continuing to offer new tracks such as "Tragedy", "How?", "Speed of Light" and "Grieving", which appeared on his debut album Private Blizzard in 2024.
