Diealright

Diealright (Korean: 다이얼라잇) is a South Korean post-punk band based in Seoul. Formed in 2014, the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Chae Song Hwa, bass guitarist Kim Seung Il, and drummer Baek Soojung. Known for their raw energy and intense stage presence, Diealright blends post-punk and alternative rock influences to create a powerful and dynamic sound. Before forming Diealright, Chae Song Hwa was a member of Midnight Smokin' Drive and the all-female punk band Rule Destroyer. Diealright debuted in 2014 with their EP Satellite, followed by several singles, including "Mad Queen" (2015) and "Garden" (2015). Their first full-length album, Minor World, was released in November 2017, featuring tracks like "Heaven," "Johnny," and "Hunt." The album showcase was held at Club Freebird in Hongdae, a well-known venue for Korea’s indie music scene. In the summer of 2017, Diealright embarked on their first European tour, introducing their music to international audiences. In 2019, they released the single "I Will Thank You If You Shut Up", further solidifying their presence in the alternative music scene.
