Born on July 9, 1992 in Pontoise, France, rapper Dieselle, whose real name is Diye Gaye, grew up in the Paris suburb of Cergy. She soon developed a passion for music, listening to one of her main influences, Rihanna, whose songs she didn't hesitate to cover. But as time went by, the young woman decided to tell her own stories and developed a taste for writing, working on her rhymes and developing her flow. Ambitious, she did everything in her power to achieve notoriety, starting by inviting her cousin Lorenzo to guest on the track "Love to Love", which she published on YouTube in 2010. At the same time, she continued her studies and took on a series of odd jobs, without losing sight of her dream. In 2013, looking for a new signing, the Juston Records label contacted Dieselle, whose video had passed the million view mark and started to attract attention. After a remix of Sexion d'Assaut's "Paris va bien" , which became "Paris va très bien" for the occasion , Dieselle enjoyed her first real success with "DJ", a French version of One T-Cool T's 2002 hit "The Magic Key", heralding her debut album, Saturne. The young woman makes her comeback in 2019 with "On ne s'oublie pas", which shows a more pop stylistic evolution than in the past. The track is followed by "Hey Boy", on which she is joined by Kamaleon on the mic. The track makes a big breakthrough, reaching number 104 on the French charts.
