Rhys Herbert (June 29, 2000), aka Digga D, is a young drill rapper from Ladbroke Grove in London who has gained mainstream notoriety for the gang content of his lyrics. In June 2018, the rapper, then 17, was jailed for a year for conspiracy to commit violent disorder after being caught with a gang armed with machetes and baseball bats. The judge issued a Criminal Behaviour Order banning Herbert and members of the 1011 gang from making references to death and violence on music and social media posts while in jail. Following his release and the success of the singles “No Porkies,” “Who?,” and “No Diet,” Digga D made his official debut with the mixtape Double Tap Diaries in 2019, reaching Number 11 on the UK charts. Preceded by the highly acclaimed singles “Woi,” “Chingy (It's Whatever),” and “Bringing It Back” with AJ Tracey, his second full-length Made in the Pyrex arrived in 2021, peaking at Number 3 in the UK and becoming the highest-charting independent drill release on the Official Albums Chart. “Wasted,” a collaborative effort with fellow rapper ArrDee, also came out in 2021 and went to Number 6. Featuring cameos from Rack5, Dodgy, Horrid1, Hotboii, AJ Tracey, Maverick Sabre, his third mixtape Noughty by Nature (2022) became his first Number 1 record by debuting atop the Official UK Albums Chart.
