Born October 8, 1991, London-based drum & bass producer/DJ Robert Etheridge is better-known by his stage name Dimension. Unlike many other drum & bass artists, Dimension’s releases added ‘80s-style synthpop melodies to modern drum & bass breaks and original and sampled vocals. He initially set up his own label, Regal Records, in 2010 and released tracks by other artists. His first release under the Dimension name was a remix of The Prodigy’s “Voodoo People”. His first official release as Dimension was the “Digital World” single in 2012 on Cyantific Records. He released three more singles for the label – “Synth City” (2013), “All I Need” (2013), and “Command” – before moving to CYN Music for one single in 2014, “Crowd Reaction”. He continued to issue singles on various labels including More Than A Lot Records. He set up his own Dimension label and released singles such as “Black Church”(2017), “If You Want To” (2019), and “Hatred” (2020). Etheride was also asked to create a mix for the popular Fabriclive series, Fabriclive 98, which was released in 2018. In June of 2020, Dimension released the single “Saviour” featuring Sharlene Hector.
