DJ Antoine

Antoine Konrad aka DJ Antoine was born on June 23, 1975 in Sissach, Switzerland. Musically at home between dance, trance and house, the sound artist can already look back on more than 50 LPs in 2010, with live albums and compilations such as the self-titled DJ Antoine (2002), The Black Album (2005) and Vive la révolution? (2008) caused a sensation at the top of the Swiss charts. Also in 2008, the club luminary began to take off with studio albums: Stop!, 2008 and A Weekend at Hotel Campari all scored gold records in Switzerland. DJ Antoine celebrated his first top 10 success at the single level in 2009 with "Every Breath", drawing musically on The Police's hit "Every Breath You Take" (1983). His big breakthrough came in 2011: With the dance anthem "Welcome to St. Tropez", which is also the first track from the album of the same name, the music producer becomes the most successful DJ in Switzerland - 15 platinum awards included. A remix of the Guru Josh hit "Infinity" (2012) is followed by his tenth studio album Sky Is the Limit in 2013, which is now also in the German and Austrian Top 10. Now a global star, DJ Antoine also began collaborating with renowned artists from other genres. In 2015, for example, he collaborated with pop and R&B singer Akon on "Holiday" . The song was released as a precursor to the album Provocateur, which was released in 2016 and reached number 5 on the LP charts in Switzerland. in 2018, shortly after DJ Antoine collaborated with German gangsta rapper Sido on the single "Yallah Habibi" , the next studio album The Time Is Now was released. DJ Antoine then also appears in various TV formats, including The Voice of Switzerland and The Masked Singer Switzerland. Most recently, he released the single "Where Do I Go" together with Aloe Blacc in spring 2024.
