German Eurodance trio DJ Company – aka Berlin's Paul Strand, Stefan Benz and Louis Lasky – made huge waves in Canada with their Top 5 1994 single "Rhythm of Love", which featured vocals from January Ordu and rappers Brian Thomas and Michael Fielder. It was included on the group's debut 1995 album, The Album and in 1997, the energy-fueled tune was given a rap-free remake. It cracked the US, peaking at Number 53 and spending 19 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. The new version of "Rhythm of Love" was featured on the group's second album of the same name, which was released through Mariah Carey's record label Crave and afforded the group notoriety in the US. A cover of Alphaville's 1984 song "Forever Young" also landed in 1997 and was included on the Rhythm of Love album.
