DJ Deep is a leading figure in the French electro scene, more well known and respected in the USA than in France. He started out as a DJ at Le Boy in Paris, under the patronage of Laurent Garnier, before launching the Legend nights at the Rex Club. DJ Deep is also a programmer for Radio FG and Radio Nova, helping to promote the deep house sound. Although not a composer himself, DJ Deep excels in mix albums, such as Deep (1999), Respect to DJ Deep (2001) and City to City (2005) and its follow-up City to City, Part 2 (2006).
