A native of Cergy, Djeneva discovered the stage at a very young age, playing Nala in The Lion King at just 9 years old, then winning the W9 talent show À la recherche du nouveau Michael Jackson. Inspired by Kehlani, Drake and Mariah the Scientist, she developed an alternative R'n'B style mixing vocals and rap, with a deep voice, contemporary sounds and a great freedom of tone. Her first tracks, such as "Futur Ex" and "VVS", imposed an aesthetic that was both melodious and daring. In 2024, she joined the Blue Sky label founded by S.Pri Noir and Still Fresh, where she unveiled her very first EP Djene's Room, an introspective project with no featurings, entirely focused on her artistic vision. With its mix of self-assumed vulnerability, modern musicality and American influences, this project confirms her place as one of the new voices of French-speaking R'n'B.
