Dominique Hudson

Author, composer, guitarist and performer Dominique Hudson first made a name for himself in musical comedy, before producing a repertoire of Latin-influenced songs, grouped together in a multi-stage project entitled Danza. Born in Quebec, Canada, on June 26, 1976, he began singing on board cruise ships, drawing his inspiration from Caribbean music. His participation in Félix Gray's musical Shérazade : les Mille et une nuits, launched in the French-speaking province of Canada in 2008, gave him new experience and a reputation that continued to grow after the release of his first album of the same name the following year. Three years later, in 2012, Dominique Hudson launched a show to accompany the release of his second opus, Danza, the first part of a project bringing together original songs and covers based on Latin music. The romantic style of her debut took on a new musical dimension, featuring salsa, merengue and bachata. After the second volume Danza 2 (2014), including the tracks "Hasta Luego" and "Comme avant", his sequel Danza 3 and its extracts "Alicia" and "Habana Baila" were released in 2016, each time with a new show. The Feliz Navidad EP of Christmas songs, released for the occasion at the end of 2018, is followed by the title "Cuatro" and a compilation enriched with new versions, ÚltimaDanza (2019), succeeded during the Covid-19 pandemic and its confinements by the singles "À cent mille ailleurs " and "Au dernier Noël " (2020), then in 2022 by the unreleased title "Hola".
