Glasgow-born singer-songwriter Dylan John Thomas is every bit the erudite indie-folk musician as his namesake would suggest. Growing up in foster care in Glasgow, he looked to greats like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen for inspiration and was later mentored by local Scottish hero Gerry Cinnamon, joining him on tour before setting out on his own musical journey with the release of his debut single, "Nobody Else," in 2019. That same year, he also sold out Glasgow's renowned venue King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. His debut self-titled EP for Ignition Records was written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic and released in 2021, with "Fever" and EP2 following in 2022. The "Yesterday is Gone" single appeared in 2023 with his full-length self-titled debut arriving in January 2024; a 13-track LP that included a live version of "Wake Up Ma," captured at Glasgow's Barrowlands, and the single "What I Need."
