The country-pop vocalist Dylan Scott released his debut single in 2013 and earned his first chart-topping hit, "My Girl," three years later. He was born as "Dylan Scott Robinson" on October 22, 1990, in Bastrop, Louisiana. Moving to Nashville as a teenager, he began earning attention as a songwriter and reached Number 54 on the Country Airplay chart with his first single, "Makin' This Boy Go Crazy," in 2013. An EP of the same title was released in 2014 and hit Number 50 on the Top Country Albums chart. Scott returned in 2016 with his self-titled debut album, Dylan Scott, which reached Number 5 on Top Country Albums and featured two platinum-certified singles. The first of those singles, "My Girl," rose to the top of the Country Airplay chart and Number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the second, "Hooked," peaked at Number 2 on Country Airplay. Scott's next two singles, 2018's "Nothing to Do Town" and 2020's "Nobody," both went gold, with "Nobody" becoming hit second song to reach Number 2 on the Country Airplay chart. The two songs also appeared on Livin' My Best Life, an EP that reached Number 5 in 2019. Scott returned to the Top 40 with 2021's "New Truck," the first release from his 2022 album, Livin' My Best Life. "New Truck" reached number 1 on Country Airplay, as did its follow-up, "Can't Have Mine (Find You a Girl)." Capitalizing on the momentum, Scott released a deluxe version of the album, Livin' My Best Life (Still), in early 2024, earning another Top 40 hit with the single "This Town's Been Too Good to Us."
