Originally from Anéhô, Togolese RnB artist Edem Drackey, real name Drackey Edem Laté Agbogbankou, began his career in 2014 after being a finalist in the 228 T Factor singing competition, launching with the track "R'doumdoum". He quickly made the most of his media exposure, bringing together a wider audience over the years with tracks such as "Tatiana", "Éwoé", "J'ai compris", "Waka" and "Président". His biggest hit was " Amévévé " in 2019, but he followed this up with "Améwuga", "Djidjipé ", "Sika " and "Edjôna " in 2021. At the turn of 2022, Edem Drackey, still marked by the death of his friend and mentor Omar B, issued a press release announcing the end of his musical career. In the spring of 2022, however, he released a new song, "Noubou", a duet with Barabas Toofan.
