After getting his start in the clubs and bars of the American South with his brother (the much more famous Johnny Winter), then playing saxophone in a jazz band, Edgard Winter released several solo albums in the '70s (including Entrance, 1970, and They Only Come Out At Night, his only real success, in 1972). Since an album with Johnny in 1976 (Together), he has hardly appeared again.
