Taha Fahssi was born on August 3, 1996 in Casablanca, Morocco. Quickly tempted by an artistic career, he made his debut in 2016, choosing the pseudonym ElGrandeToto, and quickly established himself as a name to watch among young Moroccan talent. With his track "Pablo", ElGrandeToto presents an effective and innovative trap sound in the country's musical landscape, garnering several million listens. Surfing on this sudden notoriety, the rapper followed up the next year with a first EP, Illicit (2018), which refined his style. He continued his ascent and racked up hits, particularly his track "Hors Série" released in 2020. In the same year, he won Best Hip-Hop/Rap Artist at the African Entertainment Awards USA, and released "Mikasa " and "Halla Halla", two tracks from his debut album. Released on March 5, 2021, the album fulfilled the expectations of his fans, featuring a host of featurings including Lefa, Farid Bang and Damso. The album racked up millions of listens and ranked in numerous charts, making ElGrandeToto the most listened-to artist in Morocco in 2021. Increasingly integrated into the Moroccan musical landscape, the rapper publishes "Salina" in the company of numerous national figures such as Stormy, Tagne and SmallX.
