Emerson Day, an American Christian singer-songwriter from Southern Maryland, grew up blending the sounds of southern rock and church hymns while honing her passion for storytelling through music on her family's farm. Initially driven by ambitions in athletics and law enforcement, she graduated with a degree in Homeland Security and excelled as a decorated Lacrosse player. However, her life took a transformative turn when she felt called by God to pursue music. Starting with performances in local venues, she discovered her true mission while leading worship at a small church in North Carolina, where witnessing someone give their life to Christ during worship affirmed her calling. In 2022, Emerson Day signed her first record deal with Fair Trade Services and began crafting music that reflects her journey of faith, hope, and redemption. Her debut in Christian music came with a feature on Micah Tyler's 2024 single "People Like Us," a heartfelt anthem about God's love for everyday individuals. That year, she made her official solo debut with the single "God Ain't Finished Yet," which peaked at number 37 on the Billboard Radio Christian Songs chart.
