Emile Londonien emerged from Strasbourg's Omezis collective, a hub of artists and musicians, drawing inspiration from the UK jazz scene. Formed by Conservatory-trained members during Omezis events, the group debuted in 2020 with studio sessions honoring British jazz. Their name pays tribute to UK influences and saxophonist Emile Parisien. Garnering attention from Gilles Peterson and BBC playlists, they performed at major festivals like Montreux in 2021. Their debut album Legacy (2022) featured collaborations with Kuna Maze and Léon Phal. Follow-up releases include MNK (2023) and Three Roses (2024), blending jazz, soul, and house with CHERISE and Ivan Conti.
